30 Project and Hayes Valley Farm Greenhouse Construction

30 Project and Hayes Valley Farm Greenhouse Construction

San Francisco chapter volunteers worked all weekend (from Wednesday to Sunday) at the Hayes Valley Farm on the construction of a greenhouse, benches, and a table designed by C-Lab. The new structures were the centerpiece for the inaugural 30 Project dinner Sunday night and were subsequently donated to the HVF.

Some great press coverage:

More Information on the 30 Project:

30 Project is a non-profit organization that links the thirty-year development of global obesity and starvation problems. Their mission is to align international and domestic activism by bringing together 30 key food organizers in a series of dinners in 30 cities around the country. These dinners will initiate the conversation about how to create a healthy and sustainable global food system.

tonight's Microhood gathering!

Comment by colleen.afh.sfc on March 28, 2013 to MidRiff - 6th & 7th streets Microhood Event - Thurs 3/28

Hey All -

Feel free to pick up your favorite 6pack, bottle of wine, or snack to share before we head out this evening.  We'll leave HQ at 630pm to wander & mingle around the hood.  After, there's a party sponsored by Templeton Rye at Rio Grande from 8-11pm with free drinks & a DJ.  If you miss the show n' tell events, you're welcome to come socialize at Rio Grande - I'm sure a few of us will end up there.

Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces & connecting with some new ones!  =)

giants tickets

Comment by jasse789 on January 30, 2012 to SF Chapter OPEN HOUSE (general meeting)

The new team even designed its playground next entrance to the Nationwide Group Giants' Polo Argument. With a ruined list, the Leaders completed a far away 6th. Work took a nosedive, and the financial pressure influenced Daily cigarette smoking business as well. giants tickets

Through the conditions, the Athletics' clothing have usually compensated honor to their beginner forebears somewhat. Until 1954, when the clothing had "Athletics" explained in program across the top side, the crew's name never showed up on either house or street clothing. Furthermore, not once did "Philadelphia" appear on the consistent, nor did the page "P" appear on the cap or the consistent. athletics tickets

Comment by Matthew Baker on September 28, 2010 to West Okland Health Center Design Request

Hello Jamie,
Yes, we are still looking for additional help. We are just getting started with this project and have not had our first team meeting yet. We'll most likely be meeting next week. An announcement will be posted here and everyone who signed up at the Open House will be notified.

Thank you for volunteering!
